What to visit in Vulcana Pandele
In the Vulcana Pandele we find quite a few memorial houses, several churches and extraordinary views all year round. Green shady forest trails and glades with blooming, rivers, mountains are seen in the distance a fairy tale that leads you to dream, walks and more romance.

- Fountain of living water museum collection - House of Culture
Point Museum "spring of living water" is arranged in the Cultural Centre. The collection comprises over 1,600 exhibits representing traditional technique (twisting machine, loom etc.), fabric (towels, tablecloths, carpets etc.), ceramics, furniture, household items, musical instruments, pieces of coins, photographs, cameras, etc.
- Memorial House and Museum "Gabriel Popescu"
The museum, which generically called Casa-Atelier 'Gabriel Popescu', is located in the village of Gura Volcanoes (Vulcana Pandele), the birthplace of the artist, a hilly area of magnificent beauty and was opened on May 15, 1973 even house engraver Gabriel Popescu (1866-1937). The arrangement was made with donations of his family and attempted to recreate the atmosphere in which Gabriel Popescu lived and grew.
The house was completed in 1905 by architect A. Clavel, made in accordance with the drawings and the artist's wishes. The building has, upstairs, two rooms - one very spacious, designed the engraving workshop, which is equipped with a skylight and one - bedroom, fully equipped, in which a number of household items (lamps, mugs, washbasin etc.), but also a varied library comprising etching treated, album art and photos, good manners books, books of Romanian history, wood carving books. Metal engravings involves a very painstaking and requires more light what has been achieved through a skylight. Floor illustrates where she spent the most time or workshop, equipped with a single press in the country, with two cylinders operated by a crank. The workshop can be seen working tools and materials to achieve in metal engravings and stove which works dry after printing press. Here, through engraving tools, the visitor can imagine and more easily understand the process laborious etching and engraving chisel. On the ground floor is presented through a documentary exhibition with photographs and documents from the various studies and the main works of the artist's life. Gabriel Popescu, besides engraving, carry out studies related to the passion and work, in and out, as any artist of the time, in kind, to notice different things that could be related to the expressiveness of the human face or the documentation for a particular subject. I stand witness to this easel, stool and umbrella field. Because in metal engraving tools are acquired with difficulty, which caused Gabriel Popescu to realize their own instruments.
Gabriel Popescu was the one who founded specialized higher education in the field, after being appointed professor in 1911 at the School of Fine Arts in Bucharest. Hardships and shortcomings time they did, not infrequently, print media works its students to shop the volcano. Gabriel Popescu artist portrays in his works originals in different techniques (etching, chisel, pen, charcoal etc), scenes and people in Vulcana Pandele. In such works, Popescu and engraver has proved complex and, not least, fond of drawing. His drawings depict briefly as simple snapshots, scenes encountered in the street, played strong and expressive, which capture, through a synthetic vision, the main features of the chosen subject. After 1934, the year of retirement, with his wife Marthe Canazin it ill, withdraws from Vulcana Pandele hometown. After death, however, his art has entered into obscurity, it is sometimes referred to various symposiums and events of local character. Certainly, over time, will understand the true value of his work and will receive well deserved place in the history of Romanian art. - Old and new houses

Customs and traditions
- Days of Vulcana Pandele (19-20 July, the days of the village)
Celebrations involving the entire commune with guests from many areas of the county; the event includes a festival of song and dance with great good humor, with traditional food, with attire village area popular with many customs.
